About Guiding Sensors
Guiding Sensors is a group of scientists and engineers passionate about producing high quality analyzers. We are an intrapreneurial team within Guiding Photonics utilizing our proprietary hollow fibers and leveraging licensed, advanced sensor technology. Seed funding for our Capillary Absorption Spectrometer (CAS) came from NASA, NOAA, and the DOE to enable new instrumentation to meet challenging needs for space, deep ocean, and energy research applications. It is our mission to deliver this same technology to customers, providing accurate, precise information for R&D and industrial uses.
Transforming challenging R&D projects into reality
Compact and sensitive CAS devices have applications in Environmental monitoring: e.g., greenhouse gas analysis and water circulation; Energy production: e.g., rhizosphere analysis, hydrogen fuel blending, oil/gas exploration, hydrothermal wells, and mud logging; Food Analysis: e.g., provenance and adulteration of spices, wines, fruit juices, and olive oils; Medical, Biomedical & Pharmaceutical: e.g., anti-doping, breath analysis, isotopic tracers, forensics, and drug labeling.
Our Approach
We combine proprietary hollow-fiber technology with precision laser spectroscopy to create compact, high-sensitivity instruments that are easy to integrate into research, analysis, and industrial workflow.
Our Mission
To provide scientists, technicians, and industry professionals with cost-effective, rapid, and reliable gas and isotope analysis tools that enhance decision-making and advance discovery.
Our Vision
To expand the CAS technology into platforms that set the global standard for real-time chemical and isotopic measurements, enabling breakthroughs in diagnostics, environmental monitoring, and forensics.
